I kept looking at my other Hogwarts student and I just didn't like it anymore. So I redid it. I also decided I'm better suited for Ravenclaw.
Her name is Nerine Sirett. She has a complex family history which most don't even know about. Most don't even know who her parents are. Most assume that she is the older sister of Jael Sirett, who is the daughter of her Uncle Cawley. Actually she is the daughter of Mhairie (Sirett) and Marcos Marquez. As most assume her parents are Cawley and Caral Sirett, she is never given a hard time about her parents, as both Cawley and Caral are purebloods. Her real father is actually muggleborn. Of course the family secret in the Sirett family is the fact that her Grandmother is half selkie, her real Father being a selkie, an extra marital relationship which none but her and her mother ever knew. It was eventually found out that she wasn't pure of blood, and why Nerine's Grandfather disowned his wife and their kids, though not before it imprinted on a few of them the importance of purebloods. As such Nerine's mother found herself not too thought highly of by some of her siblings for eventually marrying a wizard who was muggleborn.
All of this, and Nerine remains outside of it, ignoring her family's problems with books, art, and new things to learn.
In school she is notorious for her friendship with Merle Brightmore (Gryffindor) and Arlette Balestra (Hufflepuff). A friendship which causes her to be looked at differently for being an avid supporter of the Hufflepuff Quidditch team (as her younger brother and Arlette are both Chasers). Though Nerine and Merle rarely care whether their respective houses disapprove. Naturally this does not stop Nerine from eying a Slytherin player whom she does her best to feign disgust.

Anyway, I tried some new things in coloring, and in drawing period. Which is why it looks different from most of my other art. The rest of the pieces of this series (Merle, Arlette, Mal, etc) will all be in the same style of drawing and coloring. Hope you all enjoy it.
Edit: Oh, and before I forget, I used a reference for posing and for background [link]
